Pre cool the tile core drill with a brief dip in coolant (water) or pour water around the area you wish to drill. 2. Offer up the tile core drill to the material at an angle of 45° 3. After creating a SMILE cut in the material raise the power tool to 90° and apply gentle pressure. 4. Gently oscillate the tile core drill in the hole, use a regular 5 second bursts during drilling. 5. Make sure the tile core drill is pr-dipped into the coolant (water) before every hole as per point 1.Tiles 10mm plus will need multiple dips. Drilling vertical tiles on walls Pre cool the tile core drill with a brief dip in coolant (water) if drilling hole sizes 5,6,7,8,10,12,15mm use the tile core drill guide water dispenser for best results. If water dispenser is not used follow point 1 to 5.
